IM Motors, the Chinese luxury car manufacturer, is gearing up for its European debut in 2025, positioning itself as a sibling brand to MG. Founded in 2020 by SAIC, the parent company of MG, IM Motors emphasizes ‘Intelligent Mobility’ (IM) in its name.
The spotlight is on the upcoming IM L6, a high-end, all-electric sedan set to be unveiled at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. Anticipated features include an impressive 500-mile range and lightning-fast acceleration from 0 to 62mph in under three seconds.
IM Motors has already made waves in China with its lineup, featuring the spacious L7 luxury sedan alongside two SUV models. As it ventures into the European market, IM Motors will position itself in the premium segment, poised to compete with established players like Tesla and Polestar.
